Finally the wait is over and the winner of the 2nd Miss USA Panjaban 2010 is Karampal Mand from Cleveland, OH. The much awaited event concluded in Bakersfield, California on 17th July, 2010.

Navreet Sandhu of Tucson, AZ and Manvir Kaur of Kent, WA stood 1st and 2nd runner up respectively. The second Miss USA Panjaban 2010 was organized by Sabhiacharak Sath Punjab, India in assocation with Punjabi Heritage Organisation, California.

Earlier in a press release, Jasmer Singh Dhatt, Chairman, Miss World Panjaban and Mr. Ajit Singh Bhattal of Punjabi Heritage Organisation, California said that out of the 19 American Punjabi Girls who participated, 12 finalists were shortlisted for the grand event. Proffesor Gurbhachan Singh Gill, guest of honour, said that the particiapants should not take this event as a fashion competition but should come forward to present themselves in terms of their internal intelligence and beauty.


S. Paramjit Singh Dusanj of Punjab Heritage Organization said the winner of Miss USA Panjaban 2010 will represent USA in the 11th International Miss World Panjaban to be held in November 2010 at Punjab.

Famous Punjabi actress/anchor Asha Sharma hosted the show.


The other participants in Miss USA Panjaban 2010 were Tamanpreet Kaur, Sukhjeet Kaur Kahlon, Harshdeep Kaur, Ravinder Kaur Gill, Navjit Kaur, Crist Maan, Rajvinder Kaur, Ramandeep Kaur and Navpreet Kaur.

International Miss World Panjaban
The International Miss World Panjaban event is the brainchild of the chairman, S. Jasmer Singh Dhatt who has been organizing this event exclusively for Punjabans across the world. It is on the lines of Miss World wherein different nations represent themselves for the grand event.
S. Dhatt has previously led succesful shows like Miss International World Panjaban, Miss USA Panjaban, Miss Canada Panjaban, Miss Australia Panjaban, Miss NZ Panjaban & Miss Europe Panjaban.
